Most copy fails before anyone reads it
You wrote the flyer, the web page or the email. You said what you do and that you do it well. And almost nobody responded.
Usually the problem isn't the writing. It's the headline that sounds like every competitor, the offer with no reason to act today, the claims with no proof, and no clear next step.
Think of a shop window on a busy street. Hundreds of people walk past. Good copy is the window that makes the right person stop, step inside and buy. CopyWriting Coach helps you build that window.
Why I built this
Here's something I've learned over the years: the words you use make a bigger difference to the success of a product or business than almost anything else. Same product, same price, better words, and suddenly it sells.
And yet most ads you see are, honestly, horrible. Vague headlines, no real offer, nothing that gives you a reason to care. Have you ever read an ad and still had no idea what they were selling? Me too. ๐
The other HUGE piece is positioning. When your product sits in the right spot in your prospect's mind, you can charge a premium instead of fighting on price. Most businesses that keep cutting their price don't have a price problem. They have a words problem.
So I took decades of the classic direct-response copywriting courses, seminars and books and boiled them down into methods, checklists and real examples: how to research a buyer, build an offer, write a headline, structure a sales letter, prove your claims and close. Then I gave it to an AI coach so you can use it on your own copy. The coaching runs on Claude, Anthropic's AI.
It isn't affiliated with any of the authors whose work I studied. It's what I learned from studying them.
How the coach works
- Tell it what you're selling. Who it's for, what you need written, and where it will run. Rough answers are fine.
- It asks a few sharp questions, one at a time. What does your buyer want or fear? What makes you different? What proof do you have? What's the offer?
- It writes a first draft fast. Something you can react to beats a perfect questionnaire. Anything it had to guess is marked as a [placeholder] for you to fill in with something true.
- It critiques and sharpens. Paste any copy and it ranks the biggest problems, explains why each one costs you sales, and rewrites the weak lines.
What a session looks like
In testing I played a dog groomer with a flyer headline that said 'Quality Grooming Services For Your Pet'. The coach said it fails the cross-out test: put any other groomer's name on it and it still fits.
Then it gave three stronger headlines from different angles, said which one to test first and why, and asked the one question that would make them better: what do you do differently from other groomers in your area?
Why I ask for your email
Two reasons. First, the coach saves every conversation so you can pick it up later, on your phone or another computer. Your email is how it knows which conversations are yours, and the 6-digit code keeps anyone else from opening them.
Second, I might send you a note now and then about other free tools I build. I will never sell or give your email to anyone else.
Questions people ask
Is it really free?
Yes. There's a limit of 100 messages per person per day so nobody runs up the bill, and your work is always saved.
Will it make up testimonials or results?
No. The coach never invents facts, numbers or testimonials for your copy. Where your copy needs proof you haven't given it, it leaves a [placeholder] for you to fill in with something true.
Can I paste a whole sales letter?
Yes. One message holds about 20,000 characters, which is a long sales letter.
What happens to what I type?
Your messages go to Anthropic's Claude AI to write the replies, and your conversations are stored so you can come back to them. Delete a topic and it's gone for good.
Is this legal advice about what I can claim?
No. For health, money or other regulated claims, check what you're allowed to say with a qualified professional.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in your browser on a computer or phone.
